Girisha Enterprises’ origins date back to August 1990, when this company began its humble journey in Jakarta, Indonesia. It was established with a simple Indonesian motto in mind; “Sukses adalah saat persiapan dan kesempatan bertemu” which loosely translates to “Success is that moment when preparation and opportunity meet”.
In 1994, the company steadily expanded and incorporated itself as a Limited Liability Company. By this time the company had grown from a compact operation with a sole focus on garment trading to a medium sized firm with five departments actively involved in trade of garments, fabrics and accessories. By 1995, the firm acquired its own warehousing and logistic facilities and soon established its second company under the name of P.T. Triveni Exports Limited.
Soon after, Girisha Enterprises (S) Ltd was formally incorporated in Singapore, and by 1997 it was established as the group’s head office. With God’s blessings, expansion and growth were the byproducts of the company’s success.
With the growing emergence of China as a global supplier, the group established its first office in Guangzhou, Guangdong in 1999. Over the next decade, the group expanded its presence in China with three more offices in Shaoxing (Zhejiang), Shishi (Fujian) and Yiwu (Zhejiang). Despite the growth and expansions, the group stayed true to its beliefs that quality and service are never to be compromised and inherently, that is what guided further growth.
Realizing the potential of the African continent, the group decided to establish a representative office in Accra, Ghana in 2007 and a second one in Cotonou, Benin in 2008. The representative offices enabled clients and associates to communicate easily and efficiently despite the distances between offices.
Over the past 25 years, Girisha Enterprises has grown from a simple Sole Proprietorship to a Multinational Group with business interests in several industries, along with clients and associates in more than 36 countries spanning 5 continents. Yet, the growth has not minimized the group’s founding beliefs; true commitment, honest hard work, service & relations beyond the workplace and of course, God’s blessings are the 4 pillars to success.
